1. About this document
This page explains what personal data the Brasília Finance Challenge (BFC) collects over the course of the competition, what it is used for, and what rights you (or the legal guardian, in the case of underage students) have over it, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD. Law No. 13.709/2018).
2. Who is responsible
The data collected is the responsibility of the BFC Organizing Committee, linked to the Finance Club of Colégio Marista de Brasília. Questions or requests about your data can be sent to clubefinancasbsb@gmail.com.
3. What data we collect
In the registration form, we collect only what is needed to organize the competition:
- Team name.
- Full name, e-mail and school of the Team Leader.
- Name, school and grade of each additional member.
We do not ask for tax ID, address, banking details or any information beyond what is needed to process the registration and communicate about the competition.
4. Why we collect this data
- To confirm the registration and the team's eligibility (school and grade).
- To get in touch about deadlines, results and Grand Final logistics.
- To identify winning teams for prizes and certificates.
5. Who we share it with
The registration form is processed by Formspree, a third-party service that receives and stores the responses on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. In the case of cash prizes, additional data strictly necessary for the deposit (e.g. an XP Investimentos account) may be requested directly from the winning team, through a channel separate from this form.
6. Underage students
Because the BFC is open from 8th grade onward, many participants are minors. We recommend that parents or guardians are aware of the registration. The data collected is used exclusively for the purposes of the competition, never for commercial contact or purposes unrelated to the BFC.
7. How long we keep the data
We keep registration data for the duration of the 2026 edition of the competition and for a reasonable period after it ends, for accountability and certificate issuance. You may request deletion of your data at any time through the contact e-mail.
8. Cookies and tracking
This site does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. Should that change in the future, this page will be updated to reflect it.
9. Your rights
Under the LGPD, you (or your legal guardian) may request at any time:
- Confirmation that we process your data, and access to it.
- Correction of incomplete or outdated data.
- Deletion of your data from our records.

10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the BFC evolves. The date at the top of the page indicates the most recent version. Relevant changes will be communicated by e-mail to teams already registered.
